wandering lines
Monday, February 3, 2014. First of all, let me say that I'm so very proud to say that I am a student here. Also proud to say that this here is my final model from last semester, Fall 2013 (Studio Design I, Prof. Watters). White museum board, basswood. More to come, as this blog is really just an exercise in building a portfolio and a workflow, and maybe some late-night musings, and maybe some awful poetry and a few links to the deepest and darkest bowels of the internet. Where in the World? December 24, 2010. A dear friend who knows how much I loved sitting at my former work station reading the New York Times online forwarded me two articles: “African Farmers Losing Land to Investors”. And “Hit by a Truck and Given Up for Dead, a Woman Fights Back”. The latter was about a courageous young art student. That one left me in tears. The first article left me confused and frustrated. You may read it for yourself. It takes about 8 minutes. I’ll wait. Now why get upset? I must s...

I kept answering myself 'no don't get a magazine when will you ever find time to look at it? Etc I am my own worst enemy, and I am now on a path of self-discovery. I bought myself this journal.
