Karl and Anna in Uganda. Monday, 24 November 2008. So there’s less than four weeks until the end of our project. It’s all gone too quickly, which I suppose means that we have enjoyed our time and not been bored! We have been extremely busy (one of the reasons why it’s been so long since our last diary entry! And are spending the last few weeks frantically trying to tie up all the loose ends we have to ensure that everything will be still working once we leave. A lot of hard work has gone into the project...

http://amweeden.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
DON'T GIVE UP THE DAY JOB. How I left advertising for Africa via the topic of cancer. Thursday, December 25, 2008. I completely forgot to write this post before. And now it's Christmas Day, and everyone has cleared out and the camp is quiet, I finally have a chance. Back in November, with S&J visiting, we travelled to Banda Island, one of the smallest Ssesse Islands just south of the Equator in Lake Victoria. He does own the place after all. There is little to do there other than eat, drink, sleep. A...

Latterly, the focus was very much more on assisting with the rebuilding the regions infrastructure and aiding in the development of self-supporting communities. Christian African Relief Trust (CART).
