Two Muslims, a Buddhist, and a Christian. It’s a sign of the apocalypse or the realization that global weirding is in full effect, but North Texas has been under a sheet of ice for three days. On top of that, Cade and I have missed the entire week of school. Local businesses are cursing Mother Nature and the Super Bowl revenue that has been lost. Frozen assets takes on a whole new meaning. Taking It Too Far. Three days ago, I was hit by a thought I had never had before: I want to go hunting. Perhaps I’m letting this particular blog go to my head. Either way, for the first time in my life, sitting in a tree, freezing and camouflaged, holding a bow to kill an animal designed to avoid hunters, sounded like a good idea.
