News and views on Herefordshire. 102 The Green Bank at Warham, showing ‘Hatton’ trees on the skyline. The Green Bank is situated off Warham Lane, just west of Warham Court Farm. It has recently been covenanted as a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee 2012 Field in Trust. This means it will remain as Open Space in perpetuity. 8217; dry stone wall constructed around 1850 which permitted an unbroken view of ‘The Lawns’ from the House. November 25, 2012. News and views on Herefordshire. 104 Flooding on the river meadows, south of the Green Bank, 30th December 2012. The extent of rainfall in the UK in the year 2012 was only 6.6mm short of the year 2000 record. Herefordshire suffered a great deal of flooding, largely due to the swollen river waters coming down from the Black Mountains. The predictions are that rainfall will increase in the years to come. This will necessitate a major restructuring of the County’s agricultural economy. January 3, 2013.
