Wednesday, January 22, 2014. We celebrated Levi's birthday with his cousin Karen. We also celebrated my dad's 70th birthday. forgot to take a picture with them together. We had family for dinner and cake. Such a fun night. These pictures are fuzzy but I will post better ones when my sister gives hers to me. Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Sunday, August 2, 2015. It was Ike's first trip to the ocean and he was obviously impressed. It was also the first time in a couple of years that we actually remembered to bring our sand toys. There is nothing like a lovely day on the Oregon coast. And on the way home Rosy barfed. She said she was sorry. As a parent there are so many teaching moments. Yesterday at dinner Rocky said, "Abbey said that she saw a guy with the flag of slavery on his car so she gave him a finger. What does that mean?

Sunday, August 2, 2015. There is Such a Thing as a Free Lunch. It was an intense battle but in the end everyone was soaked and happy. Now that I see the photo we probably didn't have much more room than the folks at the pool. I was still happy with the choice because every time a kid splashed my face it was at least a kid I know. Afterward we set up the restaurant again so that Rocky could work on her skills as a waitress. Yumm bowls are apparently now available at Chef Coozine. The Davis Family Digest.
