http://tjedwardsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/more-field-trippin.html

Another fun little field trip the other day. We took a hot and muggy Saturday morning and spent it at a marsh that's not too far from us. We'd never been before and the kids enjoyed looking around- only downside was that it was a mosquito party! There were a few lookout spots to climb up:. A walkway through the water:. ...because dandelions are pretty...: 10!

http://tjedwardsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/10.html

Summer had a birthday! Double digits is always exciting- the big 1-0. Very simple birthday celebration for her that day (she was gone all day at a science class I'd signed her up for). So the celebration was a very simple affair of her choice of dinner (mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon on top; salad that must have tomatoes); her favorite cake (Strawberry Cake recipe from Farm Flavor. Anyway, just another one of those "I can't believe how time flies" sorts of days. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://tjedwardsfamily.blogspot.com/2015/05/mothers-day-part-2.html

Mother's Day, Part 2. We had a belated Mother's Day mother-daughter-granddaughter date this weekend with my mom to go see the new Cinderella movie. Princess movies are generally not my thing, but I definitely enjoyed it. It was a lovely and magical show and we had a great time. It's nice to leave the stinky ol' boys and babies behind sometimes. And of course it's always great to hang out with Mom/Grandma. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Digital paper is from shabbyprincess.com. Matilda, by Roald Dahl}.

Waste Free Lunches

Ecole Dickinsfield School, Fort McMurray, Alberta. Thursday, April 24, 2014. Our school goal is to have fewer juice boxes in students’ lunches and snacks. Why? Juice boxes create pollution: they are made and recycled in factories, which create pollution. Juice boxes often have sugar included. Fruit loses both fiber and nutrients when it is processed into juice. Fruit juices are often as high in calories and sugars as a serving of pop. Fruit juice can fill a child up so that he isn't hungry for his meal.
