A little piece of excellent news came out of Canadian baseball this week. Buck Martinez is back. The only sad part of the story is that he's replacing Jamie Campbell, who I actually quite liked as well. Hopefully they have something exciting planned for him! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Observed by Watching: September 2012

Where sports, writing and an observer meet. Monday, September 24, 2012. A question for golf fans. Watching the last round of the Tour Championship this morning. Let's imagine, for a second, that Rory McIlroy continues on the career trajectory that he seems to be laying out for himself. So, if Rory is the Tiger, who's the Phil?

I am Chorus: Happiness
http://iamchorus.blogspot.com/2012/09/happiness.html
If a composer could say what he had to say in words he would not bother trying to say it in music. Gustav Mahler. Monday, September 24, 2012. One of the new things we've seen with Miss A in the last month is a developing list of things that make her happy. Ever since she first smiled she has smiled a lot, but we are now starting to see patterns of specific things that bring out her biggest and broadest smiles and giggles. And we - her mama and papa - are also on that list, thankfully! First thing in the ...

If a composer could say what he had to say in words he would not bother trying to say it in music. Gustav Mahler. Saturday, April 7, 2012. Weeping may endure for a night. Up until the 32nd week of my pregnancy, I was considered "low-risk." Probably our fault for getting too comfortable. We almost made it. Labour began to come on fairly strongly ...
