Whales, Wildlife and Wilderness. Pam and Wayne Osborn. This ancient land of deep grandeur and beguiling fauna exerts a primal pull and we are regular visitors. Along with nature's majestic presence comes crippling poverty, suffering and sometimes violence. Whilst there are pockets of hope and progress, it seems that for many, little has changed in several generations. Our travels have taken us to Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

We started sailing the coastline and encountered the austral winter humpback migration. It was nice and also somewhat interesting to find that at least some whale populations were recovering. Our whale portfolio includes sperm whales in the Azores, dwarf minke whales on the Great Barrier Reef and the humpback migration along the Western Australian coast. From our home in Perth, Western Australia, we are regular travellers to Africa and also to the remote coral reefs of Raja Ampat and Sulawesi.
