Roy was 70 years old when he began his dream project on the 40 acres where he and his XYL lived up in Maricopa. You know how you have dreams about doing something big? He did so with nothing more than come-along winches, steel cable, tubing and steel and aluminum pipe along with his trusty Volkswagon pickup. Very impressive! Even more impressive, he climbed them all! Raising a 60-Foot Antenna.

CHRISTMAS PARTY - 2012. Well, we don't have the snow, but the scenes are beautiful. Once again, we had a great Christmas Party at the Colonia Verde Club House thanks to Mike - W0LTL. For acquiring permission to use the facility. We had a good catered Italian meal thanks to the efforts of Mike - KC9ORD and others that made it all happen. The Grinch must have stolen the picture I took of Mike and Lillian, who knows? However, we had a fun White Elephant gift exchange thanks to Anette.

CHRISTMAS PARTY - 2011. I discovered that the focus icon in my camera had somehow moved to the right and a couple of my pictures turned out a bit out of focus. I might have noticed had it not been for a bit of Christmas cheer! The effect is evident in Coronell's picutre where he's holding his White Elephant handi-talki. Sorry about that.
