RedFish DyeWorks: February 2013

http://weavingtrails.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

In the studio and on the road with the "Traveling Silk Merchants". Monday, February 25, 2013. We were just rushing around trying to get our act together to get on the road to Stitches 2013 and here we are home again. The larger booth worked out well, giving us room for 2 new circular racks to hold the new RedFish Silk Sock yarn, which seemed to be a hit as it's mostly gone. Posted using BlogPress from my iPad. In the studio and on the road with the "Traveling Silk Merchants". Sunday, February 26, 2012. Stitches West is over for another year and it was incredible. It was great to see all our circuit friends after the winter lay over. It's like the circus rolling into town, everyone arrives, sets up, the people come, everything gets packed up and we roll off to the next town to do it again. Posted using BlogPress from my iPad. RedFish DyeWorks: Grrrrrrr

http://weavingtrails.blogspot.com/2014/06/grrrrrrr.html

In the studio and on the road with the "Traveling Silk Merchants". Tuesday, June 3, 2014. I have finally figured out my knitting machine and was zipping along on a sweater sleeve when I had a ooops! I had worked my way up the sleeve increases to the sleeve cap with no problems, did my first decrease on the left and was working on the last decrease on the right when I dropped the stitch and bumped the carriage at the same time. Ooops! Posted using BlogPress from my iPad. June 26, 2014 at 12:34 AM.

weaving to dream

Saturday, January 15, 2011. I am taking a new workshop with Jude Hill and it is easier to post on typepad for the class. So just for a while, I will be over there. I am also trying out typepad to see if I like it better. So far I am not convinced, but I am not an expert at either place. Learning all the time. Still weaving and stitching and moving through winter. This is not a picture of our skies, but a dream of another day. Links to this post. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. I showed her everything.

Woodworking and Weaving Go Hand in Hand. There is something almost magical, something deeply satisfying about using a well made tool. When the work is going well, and the tools in ones hands are beautiful, functional, and perfectly suited to the weaver it is hard to describe the joy of creation that one feels. It is my goal to play some small part in your weaving pleasure and to provide the serious fiber artist with inspired tools that respond to any creative demand. I hope you will get in touch.
