Wednesday, March 11, 2009. New Lens: Nikon 50mm f 1.8D AF. Wow I just popped this lens onto my D300 and took a couple random shots of my girlfriend knitting . and was happily surprised by what this little lens. Can do. I opened the apeture wide open . and in VERY low lighting, these (above) are the shots I got . well lit and with tons of yummy bokeh. Adventures with a rug-rat in tow. We got all dressed up and got to meet Santa at the CG kids Christmas party! He wasn't scared at all- very interested, especially with his beard! A look at the first half of December! First time in the snow! Riding in dads car. Snow on the beach! I like to make messes! Not the biggest fan of peas! I turned around to find someone in the kitchen with me! Getting into the dog toys! And chewing on everything! Pulling ourselves up to standing for the first time!
