Thursday, December 15, 2011. Menu Planning The Lazy Way. The first service I tried is E-Mealz. They have several plans to choose from depending on family size and diet preferences (regular, low-fat, low-carb, vegetarian, etc). They even have plans for various grocery stores that take into account what's on sale that week. You pick a plan and then every week there's a new menu and shopping list for 7 meals complete with sides. Here's what I liked about it:. Here's what I didn't care for:. You do get the o...

Saturday, August 21, 2010. Little Bundle of Joy. A friend at work just had her first baby (a little boy! And she let me come over to take some photos. He only weighed 7 lbs which I know is fairly average, but it's so tiny compared to what David was (9 lbs 6 oz) that I couldn't get over how tiny he was. Here are a few of the pictures I got. Yes, We're Still Alive. Well, that's about all I have time for now. I'll try to be better about posting more often. To finish here's a video of David (who else...

Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Have you ever noticed that when you start a home fixit project that Murphy's Law always goes into effect. For example we decided to install new kitchen cabinets. At Home Depot they asked, "How old is the flooring? Finally after a couple of sessions of picking out cabinets, drawing up blueprints, have more measurements we were ready for action. We ordered the cabinets that arrived in 2 weeks (kind of) and were on the quick pace to have them finished by October. It isn't. The...
