Including wine in everyday life. July 13, 2012. An aha moment arrived. Cherries were perfect to go with ginger. As a result, this is the menu I came up with: Cherry Ginger sauce to put on top of the salmon; pilaf with roasted bell pepper; green beans with ginger and lemon; fresh green salad with a tart cherry vinaigrette. For dessert we had a simple bowl of fresh strawberries drizzled with a cranberry pear balsamic vinegar. We had another gourmet meal perfectly complementing the wine. February 29, 2012.
