Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Last Day of School! An entire school year. Has come and gone! My girls just finished junior kindergarten and grade 1 today. It was a great year, despite its early ups. By the end Jessica was used to the school routine and was always happy to go and see her friends. Both girls loved their teachers and learned a lot this year. Watching them learn, grow, and mature is one of my favourite things! I think Jessi will need a new backpack. Sunday, June 26, 2016. Happy 90th, Gerald!

I figure these year-in-review posts are long and boring for most readers (plus if you're a regular reader you've already seen/read all of these), but for me it really puts the whole year into perspective. Even just looking back on 2015. Those years and events seem like forever ago! The girls have grown so much and experienced a lot since then (and don't even get me started on 2013. Tuesday, August 30, 2016. Emily's pyjama party was on Saturday from 6:30-8:30pm. Thursday, April 9, 2015. We had an amazing and busy Easter this year. First we had a picnic and egg hunt with my MOPS moms. Since we meet after bedtime, this was my first time meeting most of their kiddos. New friends! We also attended the Easter Egg Hunt at our church. We attended the same event last year. We didn't have enthusastic hunters this year. Alex is a bit too young and Colin figured out the eggs have things in them and wants to open them immediately! It was 1st Easter for both baby brothers!

Wednesday, June 10, 2015. My baby is One! It is nearly impossible for me to believe that it's been a year since this little guy arrived! Alex has brought so much joy and adventure to our family. Alex's party wasn't until Saturday, so we spent Friday celebrating with family. We decided to set up for the party a day early to give Alex some time to play in his own personal amusement park for his birthday! The first gift Alex got on his birthday was from his big brother. Sunday, March 28, 2010. This week certainly does a good job of trying to balance the wonderfulness of last week. Still, my family is mostly healthy and happy so no complaining! Gavin left for London Friday leaving me with a weekend frighteningly devoid of tasks. After dropping Gavin off, I met up with Jen. For some much needed decompressing. Monday, January 9, 2017. Jessica has a brand new smile - she lost her two front teeth! She lost the first one on New Years Day. Then lost the other one the following morning. Loving her new, grown-up look. I've been playing with Jessica's ukulele, watching YouTube tutorials and learning simple chords/songs. Jessica wasn't thrilled with my constant use of her new present, so I decided I should head out and buy my own. Emily and Jessica came with me to our local music store. Three ukes for three girls.
