These first few pictures are from a day that Jack and I goofed off at the Botanical Gardens. Even though there weren't many flowers blooming, we still had a great time. Mike, Jess, Jack and Owen. Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Maybe it will last this time. Seriously, I'm going to try to blog one more time. The last time I blogged was before Owen was born and Jack was 3 years old. A lot has changed since then! He will be going to kindergarten for 2 years because he misses the cutoff for kindergarten by a few days. Owen, who is now 16 months, is definately. So that's our update. More to come, stay tuned. Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Pumpkin Patch Field Trip. Davis' class went on a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Clanton. It was the first of the cold snaps and was quite chilly! We had a fun day.we did the bouncy area, the petting zoo, rode a pony, rode the "Twactor Train", and then went off in search of the perfect pumpkin. Oh- and the part Davis was the most excited about? Saturday, March 7, 2009. Davis' first soccer goal- Game 1. After practice number 2, we had our first game against another team. It was the Eagles (us) vs. the Cobras! Then we had a guest appearance and had a picture made with Dora! She's bigger in person than I thought she would be! Then Daddy caught a fly ball! It was a fun evening for all. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Keith and I were married 8 years ago in July. "Our dance" was to the song "True Companion" by Marc Cohn. If this doesn't sound familiar to you, he is well know for the song "Walking in Memphis". Anyway.our local Hoover library has an awesome theatre and they bring fantastic acts during the year. Mike, Jess, Jack and Owen. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Exciting day at the Dr.'s office. So, today was my glucose test and I ended up passing out in the lobby of the doctor's office. The "punch" made me feel terrible after about an hour and as I was getting up to tell one of the nurses, I fell out! Monday, November 9, 2009. Mike and Jack on the carousel. The Peanut Parade starts with a huge cement truck dropping peanuts. Everyone goes out to the street to pick up peanuts. Jack's favorite, the fire truck!

On this day every year, I try to reminisce on all of the wonderful times that I had with her instead of thinking about what this day actually means.
