Wes and Alyssas Blog. Tuesday, January 15, 2008. For Christmas Wesley bought me a wonderful little Sheltie. We named him Atlas (after the rockets that Wes works on every day). We brought him home when he was only eight weeks old and 2.5 lbs. In just four weeks he has already grown a ton! So we thought we'd share a few pictures now of his first few days at home with us. How can you not love this face? When Atlas first came home he was so tiny he could fit just about anywhere. Playing with his toys.

We were in Colorado for Katelyn's wedding, I photographed a couple of weddings here in AZ (HOT! I can't believe how much the kids are changing! Grace has started dance and LOVES it. Here is a video of her and her good friend Adeline at their class. She sort of likes to shake her booty.hopefully just a short stage that doesn't last until her teen years! Saturday, May 30, 2009. A couple of days ago (I know I know, I am behind! Jamie and I braved the heat and took the kids to see the butterfly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens. In Colorado this is an INDOOR exhibit, why in the world is it OUTSIDE here? It was closing in on 105 degrees and we went midday (smart). I don't know how the poor butterflies survive, but they seemed to somehow. They had just recieved a new shipment of butterflies that morning, so there were a TON! Checking out the butterflies.

Instead of celebrating the fact that I have done the hard work to maintain a supply of breastmilk for him so that I am still breastfeeding him at 8 months over 95% of the time! Sleep I miss it. A. Lot. But then there are the nights that I lay awake, hoping he starts moving so I can steal another 10 minutes with him. It's no lie to say being a parent is the hardest job in the world.but it is also the most rewarding! Be Kind. To everyone and everything.
