The Geology page covers the volcanic activity that created areas like Saddle Mountain, Woolsey Peak, and Courthouse Rock. These pictures show Courthouse Rock over two decades of fun hikes led by WDA members within the Eagletail Mountains Wilderness area (97,880 acres) that is surrounded by approximately 160,000 acres of BLM land with numbered OHV access routes. The balance of designations for the region provides excellent wildlife environment especially for species like desert bighorn sheep.
