There are Neolithic and Bronze Age remains in the village with ancient field systems still visible. The main settlement would have been at Market Lavington and it is likely that the West Lavington settlement followed later. We have been farming for 25 years with a commitment to native breeds of farm livestock. Our animals are reared in natural conditions and grown and finished on our chalk downlands of Salisbury Plain. As committed members of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust we believe that native breeds are best qualified to fatten on our species rich grassland.
