Our Life in the West
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Spring Break: Detroit Lake Edition. We decided to stay close to home this spring break. (Gotta save money, and vacation time, for our trip to WY this summer! So four days and three nights at Detroit Lake was our fun getaway this week. We did get some rain free moments! Here we are after the almost 1.5 mile steep trek down (800 feet elevation drop) and back out (800 feet elevation gain). The views would have been amazing since we're over 4,000 feet up!
