Duathlon entry includes boat ride to race start. Individual multisporters can also get a ride to kayak transition after race to pick up boats/boards. There is a local campground (Whangamata Motor Camp) and plenty of holiday homes available for rent. Location & Logistics. Every competitor needs to bring $2 in coins for one of the mystery activities. INDIVIDUAL (must be carried by each person). Fleece/ Merino Top (200 weight min) long sleeves. Head lamp with spare batteries. Mountain Bike (brakes must work, wheels safe, tires in good condition). Rear Red Flashing Bike light. 8211; Minimum: triangular bandage, crepe bandage, strapping tape, knife, antihistamine, gauze bandage. Compass -2 per team. Cell Phone (Fully Charged). Map pens and map bags.
