OH, OKAY. NO, I DON'T KNOW.: Words Make Sense
http://thinkingsamiha.blogspot.com/2011/11/words-make-sense.html
OH, OKAY. NO, I DON'T KNOW. That doesn't mean I won't say what I think I know I don't know so that I think more about what I do know. Tuesday, 29 November 2011. Sometimes, your fingers tap on the keys, and the words just emerge on the screen. It is a visible portal to your conscience. It's crystal clear with its sharp edges, but murky at times. The words are just a jumble of letters that do not gel together, and that is when words show the truest reality. Thanks and cheers,. 8 June 2015 at 14:31.

OH, OKAY. NO, I DON'T KNOW.: Is it time to be sure that Obama is truly 'noble' to deserve a Nobel?

OH, OKAY. NO, I DON'T KNOW. That doesn't mean I won't say what I think I know I don't know so that I think more about what I do know. Friday, 9 October 2009. Is it time to be sure that Obama is truly 'noble' to deserve a Nobel? Does “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples” mean a message of hope and optimism? Labels: did he deserve it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Here we are not. Confessions of a perpetual whiner. I cant think of a title!

Of this and that: Perfume and remembering
http://bluecabbage.blogspot.com/2013/08/perfume-and-remembering.html
Keo Karpin, a sweet-tinged, dark green hair oil, was primary among the smells in my grandmother's room. Her grey-silvered hair curled at the ends. Through warm afternoons,. It has been some years since I've left home. A whole new world of scents opened up. I discovered ittars and saved up to buy long-coveted perfumes, names I would linger over in secondhand magazines. Azzarro. English Lavender. Green Irish Tweed. But. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thanks for dropping by! Good to know, good to see.

Of this and that: A walk in the woods
http://bluecabbage.blogspot.com/2014/04/a-walk-in-woods.html
A walk in the woods. Landour is part of the ancient, cantonment town of Mussoorie. In recent decades, the Garwhali capital has overgrown into a garish, bustling town, overflowing with shops, mounds of overhead wires, and rows of perfectly horrendous, concrete-lined hotels. It is not a pretty sight. But Landour managed to surprise us in a manner most pleasant. I sat on the mossy cobblestone ground and tied up the shoe, my hands feeling the damp of the rain and the mountain. Things to do in landour. I woul...

OH, OKAY. NO, I DON'T KNOW. That doesn't mean I won't say what I think I know I don't know so that I think more about what I do know. Friday, 17 December 2010. Lessons Learnt from 2010. 1 Shit happens, especially when there is no toilet paper or a hand water sprinkler anywhere. 2 Cliches are annoying, and true. Especially the one that says, "Beware what you wish for", in a very Final Destination kind of way. 3 Swine flu is an epidemic; so is marriage. 4 You are still young to do things you are yet to do.

OH, OKAY. NO, I DON'T KNOW. That doesn't mean I won't say what I think I know I don't know so that I think more about what I do know. Sunday, 4 October 2009. Written ages ago, when I was sitting simply and random thoughts flitted in and out of my mind. I sit on the stairs. Random thoughts creeping up my mind. Shadows dance on the walls. I am swept away on the tide of time. The waves throw me back on the rocks. The beacon lights up the past. When the moon lends its glory. That will take me on a new journey.

HALLUCINATIONS: Durga's Tale with a Twist
http://twistedstraps.blogspot.com/2013/10/durgas-tale-with-twist.html
Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Durga's Tale with a Twist. I was probably 4-5 years old when my father first narrated the story of the battle between Durga and Mahishasura. My father is a gifted and dramatic storyteller. He had to repeat this story every year and sometimes everyday during Navratri. He confesses to have fudged up the sequence to make it more interesting for me. The story I heard as a five year old, is the story I believe in till date. Unlike these days, Gods. So Durga was created. She had i...

HALLUCINATIONS: August 2011
http://twistedstraps.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 25, 2011. What is it with dreams? They can be so weird sometimes. The mind or whatever it is makes you see things you don't even think about or have just stopped thinking about. As soon as you shut your eyes and let go, it pulls out a smart one from the repository of memories it holds. So when someone says the usual, 'make your dreams come true' with lofted idealism, I take a step back and wonder, do I really want all those dreams to come true? While dwelling on this dream, nightmare par...
