The last few days I have been busy working around the house. I had been holding myself a pity party and decided to take a good friend's advice and just build a bridge and get over it. That starts with making my house a cleaner, more comfortable place to live. So today I have been keeping busy. First, I cleaned my fridge. It was so disgusting that I won't bother to show you the before pic. Just embarrassing. Please ignore the very bottom down there. I still need to clean that part. Here is a closer look:.

I've known about flats for a long time. I know they are typically what you think of when you think of cloth diapering "back in the day". I've always wanted to try them out but never wanted to spend the money on actual flats, lest I hate them, and I didn't have any receiving blankets leftover from my son's newborn days. Luckily I was given a bunch of blankets from various people for my daughter. Here is what I love about flats:. Fit a large range of sizes. Fairly absorbent if you add a little booster.
