Bless Your Tart: Seattle Part Deux
http://blessyourtart.blogspot.com/2011/08/seattle-part-deux.html
Thursday, August 18, 2011. Today Jason and I ran around Seattle, going from place to place. First stop, Pike Place Market. There were so many great, fun street artists.here is one of them we loved. And don't forget the alley of gum.an entire side street covered with used chewing gum. It smelled like tropical punch :). We made our way to the Space Needle and went up 520 feet to the observation deck. It was such a cool, beautiful Pacific Northwest kind of day. More pictures coming soon :). Fire in the Hole!

Bless Your Tart: August is......
http://blessyourtart.blogspot.com/2011/08/august-is.html
Tuesday, August 2, 2011. National Goat Cheese Month! Get ready for a month full of some deliciousness! Goat cheese is quite possibly my favorite type of cheese. From a light and creamy French Chevre to a tangy Greek Feta, goat cheese is such a versatile item to have in the kitchen. I love to pair this type of dairy item with poached fruits, fresh figs and house made crackers. It is wonderful tossed with cranberries or strawberries in a fresh spinach salad or used with slow roasted garlic on a pizzetta.

Bless Your Tart: The Substitute
http://blessyourtart.blogspot.com/2011/07/substitute.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. Did you ever have one of those days where you just don't seem to have what you need? Or what you thought was an unopened box of, say baking powder, turned out to be a vacation getaway spot for some bugs? Well, be afraid no more! I found myself this morning running out of a few odds and ends. Although it's best to not have to substitute, life just doesn't work that way sometimes. Here are a few common ways to substitute for certain ingredients. For 1 cup of Buttermilk:. I will admit...

This Album Tastes Like Summer. And other PseudoSynthetic meditations on Food, Music and why I can’t always separate the two. Tastes Like that ’90s Perfume, ‘Sunflowers.’ In a good way? May 31, 2010. This makes me feel like 1997 all over again. Not sure why. There’s a weird TMNT-meets-MySoCalledLife-meets-RogerRabbit thing going on that totally smells like that most ubiquitous of all 1990s perfumes- ‘Sunflowers, by Elizabeth Arden. Why yes, Bourdain, I will TOTALLY get high with you. May 25, 2010. Things ...
