Sunday, August 22, 2004. Expand at your own peril. I have spent the last 10 years in expansion mode. Not necessarily a yuppyish, consumer oriented expansion of material goods, luxuries, or real estate. It's been more of a physical expansion through careless and excessive consumption of rich foods, fine and not-so-fine wines, and full-flavored as well as full-bodied beers. In other words, I let myself go and got fat. Until now. No mas! Did I say our? So, will it stick this time? I’ll keep you posted.
