Friday, 4 May 2012. Day 3 LEJOG Tiverton-Tintern. Today was a day of rain and the 2 big bridges. After a good breakfast I lost track of Jim and Phillip and I joined up with Tom and Adam.It was raining and I was wearing my full rain gear. Wednesday, 9 May 2012. Day 9 LEJOG Inveraray to the Great Glen Hostel at South Laggan. Today was the day of castle's,lochs and Ben Nevis. After eggs benedict for breakfast(jummy) we left the Loch Fyne Hotel just after 8. Sunday, 8 January 2012. Kilo to go Mercia ride out. Did the kilo to go Mercia ride out with Clive today.50 Miles from Wolverhampton to Telford,Bridgenorth and back to Wolverhampton.We cycled in the first group,leaving at 9am,of about 30 riders.We lost one cyclist who was hit by a car who was going to fast and didn't give way,about 10 miles out.Thank god he only sprained his ankle but he couldn't carry on. I set off today at 06:20 to cycle to Birmingham, where my wife is visiting our niece. It was nice and cool at the start, but soon warmed up. Had a coffee at Winslow service station, travelled on through Buckingham and Stowe. There were loads of classic sports cars on their way to Silverstone.
