Upendo, Amahoro, and Coffee. Thursday, October 30, 2008. I went up country for the first time last week. I spent a day in Nyanza-Lac and a night in Gitega. The drive down the coast along Lake Tanginyka was beautiful! On the way back from Gitega we stopped at a market in the Mountains. Pictured below are sweet potatoes. Upendo, Amahoro, and Coffee. Sunday, June 5, 2011. Joshua: Naomi's Village's first child. His story is a sad one that can be found in the Kenyan news. Drunk one evening, Joshua's father came home and murdered his pregnant mother and two brothers while Joshua hid under a table and watched.
