Ramble: August 2012
http://ramblernotes.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 12, 2012. How can we achieve the proper balance? Is it just comfort to which we become accustomed? How can adventure be a part of daily life, and is the next shifting problem or squealing brake any less of an exploration than the next turn of the trail? All I can say for sure is that it sure is great having the silver bike back in action! I'll post photos of that process soon. Looking back over the bay from Tam. Looking up the road toward Pacifica. 0110101001100010: China
http://yooperjb.blogspot.com/2011/08/china.html
Bikes and life in humboldt county. Thursday, August 25, 2011. I've recently been honored with the key to China. For those of you that don't get out very often, China is a country in Eastern and Southeastern Asia, with a total size of 9,596,961 sq km. which is just slightly smaller than the U.S. and the fourth largest on Earth. Wow, that's big. I could spare the key for a little while so if you're interested in borrowing it please let me know. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). North Coast Bike Rides.

Ramble: December 2010
http://ramblernotes.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 12, 2010. Part two of the ads. This is actually the first of a bunch that I ended up just taking more close-ups of, but I hadn't quite figured that out yet. Anyway, I like to see the rest of the ad too, but I think the photos in these ones are pretty cool. Another from what I'll call the "Arnel collection". Another one of those close-ups. Sweet lunch box. And another, but this one had a slightly different format, so I couldn't just get the photo as easily. Friday, December 10, 2010.

Ramble: February 2011
http://ramblernotes.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 24, 2011. The Full moon comes again. Well, the full moon came, and as usual, I couldn't resist taking some photos. The first set is of the moon rise. This looked pretty light. Sometime in the VERY early morning. Full moon just before dawn. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. A dry time of year. I took a walk yesterday. I hadn't been up to the Ventana in at least 10 years, and I decided to wander up there since it's a fairly quick climb. I took some photos. I thought this oak was quite shapely.

0110101001100010: Community Forest Trail #19
http://yooperjb.blogspot.com/2011/09/community-forest-trail-19.html
Bikes and life in humboldt county. Sunday, September 4, 2011. Community Forest Trail #19. Was inspired by an old friends new album, so I took a break and went out to shoot some video in the local Community Forest. There's not a ton of riding there, but some very beautiful and flowy single track that I can't complain about. I mean, who can complain when there's riding right outside your door? Bikes and life in humboldt county. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Density, modulus, and Fatigue - Oh my. So I've taken it upon myself to do some more research mostly for a friend, but also for the day that I can actually afford a nice light road bike that fits me snugly, or that sick Titanium XC mountain racer. For now I've stumbled upon a series of articles. Called METALLURGY FOR CYCLIST by Scot Nicol who founded Ibis Cycles. Monday, February 8, 2010. A project for every finger. At Geomans bike stuff.
