Wednesday, 29 December 2010. Canon eos 40d, tokina 12-24mm lens. I took this photo whilst walking down sea road yesterday, it was rainy and there were lots of nice lights everywhere. I did a kind of unintentional pan with the car but im not complaining. Ive started to enjoy taking photos in low light without a tripod, at shutter speeds that you should probably use in conjunction with a tripod - it gives a kind of weird blurry painterly effect that i like. New years eve soon. Taken on sea road, bridport.

Tuesday, 31 May 2011. Canon eos 40d, home made pinhole lens, tripod. Went to burgess park today to locate a geocache (google it) and to take some pretty pinhole pictures. I like how well the clouds have come out in this. hannah. Suggested that i put an old filter in front of the lens to flatten the light a bit and it has made the images somewhat sharper. i will keep playing with it and see what i can get tomorrow, im liking doing a little series. i might do it more often. Thursday, 31 March 2011. 250th of a second. Canon eos 40d, tokina 12-24mm lens, vivitar flash, wireless flash trigger. That board came inches away from hitting my lens so many times. On the bus today i overheard a mother teaching her young daughter how many pennies there are in a pound. she was amazed because her mum said the yoghurts they just bought cost two pounds. 'Two hundred pennies! Are we rich then mum? Overhearing this kind of thing makes me happy. Taken at the weird swimming pool bowl thing.

Monday, 28 February 2011. Woke up too late for uni today, slept some more. Got up to find phil and tim had been listening to jazz and swing pretty much all day. i joined them and played playstation for a bit, then it was time for the weekly shop. Came back and had veggie burgers and lemonade. this time last year i was getting ready for my first ever university interview and i was super nervous; a year later im going to uni and living with some of my best friends in london. whodathunk.
