Where the Streets Have No Name. Excursions, reflections, and ramblings of an RUF @ Stanford Intern. November 16, 2010. This past Thursday, we participated in SPOON– the Stanford Project On Hunger. We met early Thursday morning to prepare and serve breakfast to our neighbors at the Palo Alto Opportunity Center (PAOC). It was a great morning. Not only was it an awesome opportunity to serve and get to know our community, but we had an awesome time doing it together. Getting ready to prep!

Friday, November 13, 2009. Down to the Delta. A couple weeks ago, the RUF staff (and Kyle) piled into Les's minivan early Sunday morning, and made our way down to the booming metropolis of Greenwood, MS. It was my first experience in the Delta, and a great one. Overall we had a great Greenwood/Delta experience, and I hope to make it back sometime. We stopped at a cottonfield on the way back, which makes for some fun pictures. November 13, 2009 at 11:59 AM. So where are the pictures? Down to the Delta.

So here you are . feel free to tell me I am crazy. 1 Read through the Bible. 2 Actually memorize (gasp) a verse from each book of the Bible. 3 Become more disciplined . in everything ( like I haven't tried that before). 4 Start playing the piano again. 5 Stay on top of my intern study program. 6 Lead a killer small group and influence the guys on Belhaven University's Campus.

Well, I have been a little slack in updating my blog this semester so I hope you will accept my deepest apologies and hopefully we will be able to start afresh in the new year! This fall has been very good to me. I don't even know where to begin when trying to recall all of the amazing experiences I have had this fall but I suppose it is fitting to start with the best. Earlier this week I got a call from the RUF office that I have officially been cleared to move (thus I am past 75% of my support), and I can't tell you the relief and thanks that comes with this. I am humbled and encouraged to have so many people behind me in this endeavor.
