March | 2010 | The Upward Call
https://joeywilkins.wordpress.com/2010/03
Archive for March 2010. It’s been a while…. On: March 18, 2010. It’s been more than a year… I’d say that’s a pretty significant dry spell as far as blogging goes. Seems to be in line with my running habits. Apparently I am also a fair-weather wanna be blogger. Work has been great. I still love learning and growing in my confidence as a nurse. And it is always encouraging to get positive feedback from patients and families. Such a rewarding job! A Jar of Alabaster. My Borderline Heretical Thoughts.

Elisabeth Elliot, my hero. How time flies…. Don’t Wish it Away. On: January 13, 2009. I have been reminded these past few days from various conversations with single friends that singleness is a gift. And not a “hey thanks, but that’s a lousy gift” kind of gift… it is one to be genuinely thankful for. Why is it so easy to forget that? One of my all time favourite books is. Faithful Women and Their Extraordinary God. 7 Responses to "Don’t Wish it Away". January 13, 2009 at 11:24 pm. Good job single lady.

Jessica in Japan: Day Tripper!
http://whileiwasteaching3.blogspot.com/2011/11/day-tripper.html
Living my life in the land of sushi and tsunamis. Sunday, November 13, 2011. Yesterday a group of us from school took a day trip up to a well known pottery village called Mashiko. It was a beautiful day to get out of Tokyo. Apparently the weather was forecast to be somewhat drizzling and horrible but the nuns supposedly prayed that way and so we were set! This was where one of the most famous Japanese potters lived. It has since been turned into a museum. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a Canadi...
