Musings of a muse. December 19, 2013. If a house is not a home, then it’s no better than one made of paper. This is a deconstruction. I will ignore the purists who say that one can only deconstruct. Literary texts or architectural designs. This is so I can deconstruct a text more complex than both. I am referring to anger, and in this case, mine. Anger is a mask of pain. We have no wounds or scars to show it and to confront it much less show it is itself a painful process. Two years ago, I woke up crying.

But when I turned 25 last month, I didn’t feel any better than I was the day before. Instead, I only felt a certain weight on my shoulders making me wonder,. Until what age is one considered a young adult? I feel as free as when I was 6, as sad as 12, as emotionally mature as 18. Sometimes I feel as old as 30, or as exhausted as 100.
