http://therestlesslife.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Ramblings, ruminations, contemplations, insights, anecdotes, and other mostly worthless information. Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Yesterday was the last official day of the semester for DIS. To mark the occasion, there was a closing convocation at Kobenhavn Universitet where speeches were made, awards were handed out, and awkward photo montages were displayed. More importantly, the prize for best student blog was awarded, and - no surprise here - I didn't win. The winning blog was " A Broad. So perhaps ...

The restless life: February 2009
http://therestlesslife.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Ramblings, ruminations, contemplations, insights, anecdotes, and other mostly worthless information. Monday, February 23, 2009. This semester I am taking ENAM 0170 - Writing: Poetry, Fiction, Nonfiction. An Allen wrench, an extra tube, duct tape, and a Swiss army knife. I opened each of its parts. I counted them, thought about writing the number down in my book, and realized it wasn’t important. Who cared how many things it could do? It’s a Swiss army knife. After all – the rest of the things are i...

Ditch Pickle Classic Fly Fishing Tournament: 2016 DPC
http://www.dpcvt.com/p/2016-dpc.html
Our new DPC Champ! Dillon Brooker (Kind of a Big Dill). Every year immediately post-Pickle, I feel a huge sense of relief that we got through another successful Pickle and also a real bummed out feeling that another year is in the history books. In all, there were 72 teams and 163 anglers that showed up to the Pickle Family Reunion this year. A large jump from 134 anglers in 2015! We did hear of some Picklers that went to the wrong venue for the awards. All the details were listed on the 2016 DPC. Dillon...

Ditch Pickle Classic Fly Fishing Tournament: 2014 DPC
http://www.dpcvt.com/p/2014.html
2014 DPC Champ, John Cooper (Team Imbassiles), posing with the 19.75" smallmouth that won him the Big Pickle Pool. I can't believe after all the planning, stress and finger-crossing, the 2014 DPC is finally in the history books. This year's event was bigger and better than ever, with 115 anglers spread among 51 teams competing for over $6,000 in cash and prizes! Roland cranking out the grillables. It's crazy to think how far we've come since our first Pickle back in 2010. We also put more planning into o...

Ramblings, ruminations, contemplations, insights, anecdotes, and other mostly worthless information. Wednesday, July 4, 2007. I am currently in the process of trying to get a column in the school paper, The Middlebury Campus. Here are the two sample columns I wrote for my application:. Baby “Bubba” g ets. 8211; www.CNN.com. It was the only article with a picture.): “Baby ‘Bubba’ gets a gun permit” – above it was a charming picture of little Bubba and his grinning father. Also at fault here are the souls ...
