We took our annual trip to Wye Mountain to play in the daffodils then our cousins from Oklahoma came to visit the first half of spring break and the second half we went to Houston to visit our other cousins! Skirts and dresses only for this girl. She does not like to sleep alone. She still loves the movie Madagascar, but she likes Strawberry Shortcake and Barbie movies too. She dresses herself and does not always match. She can do so many things without help now. She is such a big girl. She still calls her bathing suit her "bathing soup".

Monday, October 8, 2012. This fall, Shaan and I made our first trip to the Pumpkin Patch. What a neat experience! We travelled to Burt's Farm in north Georgia and spent several hours browsing through the large selection of pumpkins, taking a hayride, and sampling some tasty treats. Oh, and of course we purchased a few pumpkins as well! We made it home with a carving pumpkin that looks WAY bigger on our teeny doorstep than it did out in the pumpkin field - ha! Shepherd My Child Blog. With a Cherry on Top.

Saturday, January 12, 2013. The First Fifty and BAD DOG! Shaan mastered reading/spelling his first 50 words this week!
