There's not a lot I wish I had known because learning and starting from scratch is very rewarding. http://sugarandotherspicesoflife.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sugarand other spices of life. A blog about family, friends and all the other sugar and spices that add the flavor to my life! Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Well, here it is nearing the end of June and I'm just now posting my monthly blog. It's been a busy month and I have several events I want to get recorded in my "journal" - a few yet still from May. So, here's a recap. Isn't she a darling? I also got to meet Karen's friend Susan and visit her Ilama/sheep farm - where I almost got to see a castration?

6 Sheep and a LLama: May 2015
http://6sheepandallama.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
6 Sheep and a LLama. Thursday, May 28, 2015. Finally got help downloading videos. Here is one everyone has been waiting for. Why is it everyone is captivated by new babies? Hard to believe these goslings are a week old. In a few days we will see if there are new chicks on the farm. There are maybe 8 eggs under the broody hen but who knows how many are viable. Currently, and I am hoping it will bring me back to that feeling in life. 6 sheep and a llama. Saturday, May 23, 2015. The Goslings Have Arrived.

http://holesinmyjeans-kpannabecker.blogspot.com/2015/07/schooner-farm.html
Holes In My Jeans. Saturday, July 25, 2015. A few years ago a friend brought her children here for a farm tour. They had so many questions which inspired me to write them a story. I found it today on my external hard drive and decided to share it with you. 8220;Mommy, how many days till Saturday? 8220;Tinley, you just asked me that yesterday. Here, look at the calendar.”. Saturday was highlighted in bright pink, my favorite color. Written on the calendar was Schooner Farm. Schooner Farm is so far away.

I'm sure that's what you thought I was talking about. They're very similar, rust and all. In the meantime, we and our homestead will gradually grow. Today we added a livestock trailer, bought from friends who, like us, ...

6 Sheep and a LLama: What's Really Important April 9, 2015
http://6sheepandallama.blogspot.com/2015/04/whats-really-important-april-9-2015.html
6 Sheep and a LLama. Thursday, April 9, 2015. What's Really Important April 9, 2015. First a worm meandered by, a very long one with detail for me to observe. Buzzing, brought my attention to a bee making its rounds. This was followed by an ant scurrying off to somewhere. Decomposers and pollinators, what is more important than these? Without them, we would not be here to worry about the rest of the stuff. Thank you God. 6 sheep and a llama. April 13, 2015 at 6:13 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

6 Sheep and a LLama: October 2014
http://6sheepandallama.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
6 Sheep and a LLama. Friday, October 31, 2014. Out in the county, we don't get many "trick-or-treat" ers. Sometimes, like today, I am in town when the Lexington area children parade down the streets picking up treats from all the stores. Fun to see but unfortunately not many exciting costumes. Scary Come spring it might be sunglasses, and summer a big hat. Maybe it is good thing we don't get many witches and goblins. 6 sheep and a llama. Sunday, October 26, 2014. What Does It Mean? It is fun fantasizing ...
