It's Just Me: Scrapping the Now
http://lyndonpea.blogspot.com/2012/09/scrapping-now.html
Wednesday, September 5, 2012. I took part in Studio Calico's Weekly Challenge. Which was to scrap a "now" picture. I have such a hard time not scrapbooking chronologically, hence why there are only two newborn pages in Miss E's baby book. This was a great challenge for me to break out of my rut. I am really loving getting back in the creative groove! Have a gooder,. Terrific layout. I love the BW photos with all the color. September 6, 2012 at 3:30 PM. Thanks for visiting my blog. Scrapping Knights: Shimelle's starting points
http://scrappingknights.blogspot.com/2012/10/shimelles-starting-points.html
A place for all my scrapping news and projects. Friday, October 26, 2012. When Shimelle has her starting points on her blog I usually participate but very rarely do I add my linky to her page. If the truth be told I'm just slack. I find her starting points an inspiration. A jumping off point. I'm quickly able to get a page done whereas if I sat down and started to scrap I'd often not be able to start quickly. What's a starting point? This layout, Nanny, is very special to me. I'm not very happy with ...

Scrapping Knights: Becky Higgins Sweet Baby kit
http://scrappingknights.blogspot.com/2012/11/becky-higgins-sweet-baby-kit.html
A place for all my scrapping news and projects. Friday, November 9, 2012. Becky Higgins Sweet Baby kit. Showing how I'd put together the album and what is included in the album. What I like about this kit is all the journaling prompts which come with it. With some of the prompts I didn't write much, for example where it said, " Books read." I wrote, "You are the 5th baby. I think we know what we're doing.". The love diecut is a class cut from Cut It Out from Studio Calico. I'm still working my way th...

Scrapping Knights: Project Life 2012
http://scrappingknights.blogspot.com/2012/11/project-life-2012.html
A place for all my scrapping news and projects. Tuesday, November 6, 2012. The kids just adore looking at the photos. I also include a lot of photos the kids have taken. While the photos aren't always good it is also part of our life story. I try to include a note in the journaling when the kids have taken a photo so we know for future reference. I also like that the photo taking involves them in the Project Life experience. I found this blog. More artwork with a journaling card attached with washi tape.

The {Scrappy} Girl Next Door: NYC Simple Stories Album: Progress is Being Made!
http://www.thescrappygirlnextdoor.com/2012/08/nyc-simple-stories-album-progress-is.html
The {Scrappy} Girl Next Door. Friday, August 3, 2012. NYC Simple Stories Album: Progress is Being Made! My NYC vacation album is coming along! I'm really enjoying working with these little mini canvas size openings in the Simple Stories album. Lots of little pockets to fit memorabilia in, yet the versatility of having traditional pages as well! I've really had fun using washi tape and especially the fabric strips from Studio Calico. (I discovered you can easily stamp on the fabric strips! More layouts fr...

Scrapping Knights: Hitchhiker's Guide to Scrapbooking
http://scrappingknights.blogspot.com/2012/09/hitchhikers-guide-to-scrapbooking.html
A place for all my scrapping news and projects. Friday, September 14, 2012. Hitchhiker's Guide to Scrapbooking. I've been eyeing off this. Course on Two Peas for some time now. I had promised myself that if I FINALLY got my scraproom clean I would purchase the class as a reward to myself. Well after 8 months in the room I still hadn't got the room clean. I decided to purchase the class using my scrapbooking budget because I realised I might be waiting 20 years for the room to be clean. I found this photo...

Write Snap Scrap: Tutorial: How To Make A Looped Twine Flower
http://www.izzyanderson.com/2012/08/tutorial-how-to-make-looped-twine-flower.html
Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Tutorial: How To Make A Looped Twine Flower. I took a little break from layouts and cards to make an altered project: decorated flip flops. I don’t know if these will be super practical to wear, but they were fun to make and that’s what counts. :). I used Trendy Twine’s Krazy for Kraft. To make the twine flowers on these flip flops. The flowers were easy to do, but you will need to fashion a little loom to make the loops. The size of the flowers depends on the size of your loom.
