A Lifeform In Northern Ireland: August 2012
http://life-in-ni.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, 9 August 2012. Crusaders F.C. 2011/12 A Season to Remember. What an end to last season it was for Crusaders. To put it in as few words as possible, Crusaders FC. Won the Setanta Sports Cup. Only the 2nd Irish League side to do so and what a day it was, as I mentioned when we were looking forward to the two cup finals. After waving our black and red flags and clapping the players off as they picked up their medals, we headed back to Seaview to drown our sorrows. Compared to how I'd woken up with...

A Lifeform In Northern Ireland: November 2012
http://life-in-ni.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, 4 November 2012. A Day Trip to the Armagh Planetarium. With family visiting and the route into Belfast about to turn into a parade for the day, we decided to escape to somewhere quieter. Our solution was to get a Translink Goldline coach to Armagh. The least populated city in Northern Ireland don’t you know! We aimed to have a quick look around the city but our main aim destination was one of my favourite visitor attractions in Northern Ireland – the Armagh Planetarium. In one room there is a scr...

Date Night: Cafe Moto | Serious Eats
http://newyork.seriouseats.com/2011/04/date-night-cafe-moto-williamsburg-brooklyn-review.html
Date Night: Cafe Moto. Spots for every kind of date. Jessica Allen and Garrett Ziegler. Beneath the clang and rumble of the J/M/Z train in Williamsburg sits one of the city's more humble flatiron buildings. Though Cafe Moto's. We started with a whole steamed artichoke. 7), sprinkled with salt and olive oil, as labor intensive to eat as ever. The accompanying huge plop of saffron mayonnaise, whose mild sourness offset the 'choke's soft heart-meat, slowly disappeared. Spring is coming, the appetize...8), t...

A Lifeform In Northern Ireland: January 2012
http://life-in-ni.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 31 January 2012. Crusaders F.C. Irn-Bru Cup Final 2011/12. On Saturday 28th January, in front of the TV cameras of the BBC and an eager crowd, Coleraine FC and Crusaders FC went head to head at the Ballymena Showgrounds. The prize, the Irn-Bru sponsored Irish League Cup. Whichever, everything just seemed to be a lot more chilled. Were favouring a Coleraine win. Except for Chris Holt who had the game going to extra time and penalties. We picked some seats close to the half way line behind the dug...

http://marsscraps.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 29. March Manufacturer Challenge was October Afternoon. I'm NOT a big fan of OA/retro. However, I did have a few sheets of paper I must have received in kits at one time or another. This LO is all OA paper - the only things I added were a button, some Kaiser pearls, and Prima alphas. Don't forget to stop by the Birthday Bash at Paper Secrets! Thanks for stopping by! Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Monday, March 28. Paper Secrets and Another Scrap-lift. My layout - I love it! Monday, March 28, 2011.

Tuesday, 25 September 2012. A Ride on the Roosevelt Island Tramway. Time travelling back into our US adventure earlier in the year. On Monday 13th February, we headed from Brooklyn to Roosevelt Island so we could cross back into Manhattan. Roosevelt Island. With the weekly MetroCards we'd bought to get us around the city during our stay, we'd been pleasantly surprised when planning our itinerary to find out that you can also ride the aerial tramway. The downside to it is that it was soon over as it is ju...

Mar's Scraps: August 2011

Tuesday, August 23. My Grammy is staying with us for an extended visit. One of the places she wanted to see again was Cape May. We spent a couple of hours on the beach. It was an absolutely gorgeous day. And we didn't feel the earthquake either, lol. Her old house is still there and looks great! It is relatively unchanged. New paint colors and the pool we had to the right of the house is long gone. She also can't believe how tall the tree in front is now. Thanks for stopping by! Tuesday, August 23, 2011.
