Rainy Days and Copays Get Me Down. My take on the healthcare system. Friday, January 07, 2005. You know what would make this good? If I teamed this blog up with another worker drone like me, but from the insurance side. Someone who also thought the system sucked, but hates those friggin' doctors. If anyone out there knows such a person, direct 'em my way. Posted by sparklestone at 8:45 AM. View my complete profile. The (mis)Adventures of Miss Kate. Light and the red balloon.

The (mis)Adventures of Miss Kate. Born to hand-jive, Baby. Wednesday, April 18, 2007. Not quite my story, but I can learn. On a friend's recommendation, I just read The Color of Water: a Black Man's Tribute to his White Mother. By James McBride. Since the baby we'll get will most likely be a different color than we are, I'm trying to prepare for some of the reactions and situations that our family will find ourselves in. What about all the good white people he knew? The Color of Water. To raise her child...

It takes all the guesswork out of who to support and what religion/cult I should join. I'm not going to mention the obvious, or those covered already by Sparky's blog. But here are some worthy celeb causes folks might want to look into:. Everyone is interested in that, right? Links to this post. I got my bell rung.

The doctor and I went to a Medicare sponsored seminar this morning. We didn't exactly. It is trial and error. It is incompetent. It's the government. But they ain't out to screw us. When dealing with medical claim difficulties, I might scream out "GodDamn! Posted by sparklestone at 5:24 PM. So the malevolence lies ...

The (mis)Adventures of Miss Kate: Questions for mothers
http://adventuresofmisskate.blogspot.com/2007/01/questions-for-mothers.html
The (mis)Adventures of Miss Kate. Born to hand-jive, Baby. Monday, January 29, 2007. So, we're going through the home study to get OK'd to adopt a baby and we are getting asked some annoying-assed questions. I'm sure that if most parents had to go through this process before they could get pregnant, we wouldn't have a population control issue. A sampling:. How much cash do you have in the bank? How long have you been married? How much is your rent/ monthly mortgage payment? What if the baby isn't white?
