http://fairies-fantasy-art.blogspot.com/2010/10/what-is-fairy-and-arthur-rackham-part-1.html
Monday, 25 October 2010. What is a Fairy and Arthur Rackham Part 1. A Fairy is considered to be a mythological being, not just from Anglo-Saxon myths, Celtic , Nordic and Germanic. Although there's a strong connection to these, you must remember that story telling, or better known as folklore, is dynamic wasn't in the written form. It's been a little while, but I'm always back to put up a couple of new pics. Actually it wouldn't be a bad idea to use some of these beutiful fairy images to make a few cute fairy tattoos. Well, as a guy, there are some pretty mean looking fairy tattoos which would rival quite easily with some hard core ones. Yes, believe it or not. And why not! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Fairies Fantasy Art: April 2008
http://fairies-fantasy-art.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Monday, 21 April 2008. A great technique to use watercolor, is using stencils or even objects as stencils. Take a simple leaf and place it on the paper. Then grab a spunge a water down the colors on a tray. One color at a time. Soak up the spunge and press it around the edges of the leaf. If you're just interested in doing something simple, than a greeting card might be a good idea. Enjoy. Wednesday, 9 April 2008. A very good way to put this in action is actually when incorporating patterns. It's a g...

Fairies Fantasy Art: January 2008
http://fairies-fantasy-art.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 17 January 2008. What I find interesting about Edmund Dulac is that he arrived toLondon a little bit later, as the color seperation was refined, and didn't struggle with that problem. This is early 20th century. And he worked for the same publishers as Arthur Rackham, Hodder and Stoughton, but he made use of his paintings at an Art gallery in Leicester, before selling the reproduction rights to H&S. Labels: Fairy Tales in Lessons. Monday, 14 January 2008. But there are many paintings that appea...
