Keepin' Up with the Boys! Thursday, October 21, 2010. Zach has been working really hard this past year on his studies, as my last post shows, but also in Cub Scouts. { As a mom. I really don't understand the scouting program, having never gone through it myself. Its a bit crazy}. Tonight was the first pack meeting since Zach turned 9, and became a "Bear" instead of a "Wolf" (The Pack Meeting of all the age levels in cub scouts and their families. It happens once a month. Big Hooplah! Coming up for air.

This has been done several times successfully, and other times, not so much (thanks to my mom falling and breaking her ankle, the Dr had told her not to fly, therefore canceling the plan) Nevertheless, the scheming, planning and deceit is always fun to do. A Smidgen of Smoodge. Thursday, June 27, 2013. I borrowed Cirrus to help me paint the railing after we mended her swim suit. She did an awesome job. Then yesterday part of our sheet rock was delivered. It was an amazing thing to see. The men worked well together and moved a lot of rock in a short amount of time. They appreciated the frozen fruit bars afterwards. Yesterday was a hot day! Through the front door. Stacked on the main floor, kitchen area. Through the sunset doors. Down in the basement.

A Smidgen of Smoodge. Thursday, June 20, 2013. In April we started insulating the house. They foamed the outside walls of the house first with a light blue foam. There was a lot of issues with the weather. It was too hot, and they didn't have the correct foam for hot weather. Finally it turned cold so they started. Then it became warm again so we had to wait for a while. The came the soft foam. It is used in the library walls, and beneath the ceilings where we have radiant line. Keith, Johanna, et al.
