We began as a small group of concerned Tri-Valley residents who wanted the general public to be informed about the implications of building the Hacienda Business Park. It was being planned as a vast commercial development that was nearly absent of any residences. Measure Q was a request by the Council to buy into a new shared sewer export line, to expand Livermore’s sewage capacity. CBG argued against it because:. 1 It was too expensive, and we hate wasting tax dollars. 2 Livermore had a lot of capacity left in the existing system, and we would likely never need any more.
