How to do stuff. And a better Sun. I hope you’ve all had a great Festive period, I’ve been fairly busy far away from a keyboard so there’s not been too much done! A few users had complained about the brightness of the game, and it would have seemed that from my (limited) testing most of my machines have a Gamma that is set higher than normal, meaning it looks fine for me but dark for everyone else. So the Sun is now 40% stronger, and to be honest it makes things a lot nicer! Mob Pit Tutorial - Part 1.

How to do stuff. V051 – Fixed sea and torch lighting…. A few of you were quick to point out that the torch didn’t work on mob’s or the sea! You also spotted that it gave some pretty poor results on flat surfaces, with striping occurring where it should have been smooth. How to do stuff. In-World items like Torches! You can now spawn (from Java-Script) in-world objects, like torches and a gravity gun. Cubiverse now supports day and night cycles, fully controllable from your Java-Script. Trigger zones allow you to execute Java-Script when a player enters or leaves the trigger zone. I've added in player (and mob) spawn points, these little cubes allow you to select where players and mob's spawn. Quick look at the start of the Zombie Escape world. A* Path finding for mobs.
