What is a Makership. What is a Makership. LVL1 is located at 1205 E Washington Street, in The Pointe. We’re located in LL100, on the lower level. We’ve got 8800 square feet of workshop space, including a metal shop, wood shop, classroom, and much, much more! Main entry is located at the bottom of the ramp in the “courtyard” parking lot. There are also two interior entrances. Parking is available anywhere on The Pointe propery, as well as on the street. Our main entrance currently looks like this:.

Stop by at 6 PM on any Tuesday for a hands-on experience learning the basics of the tools LVL1 has to offer. Based on the community response at learn@lvl1.org, This workshop series is specifically designed to provide beginner makers/hackers with access to the absolute basics of tool use, in an informal setting. Applicants must be a resident of the Louisville area for the duration of the makership. Previous Makership winners are not eligible to apply for repeat Makerships. How significant a financial impact does the LVL1 Makership have on this applicant? After all, this is a need-based Makership. How well qualified is the applicant to conduct the project?

What is a Makership. What is a Makership. What is a Makership? We award our makerships to applicants who can put together the best pitch for (1) what they want to make and (2) how they plan to do it. Your project could be anything from an electronic gadget, to an open source software project, to a citizen science project, to a fire-breathing robotic pony, or (hopefully) a project we haven’t imagined.
