Hobby roboticists in Canada's national capital region. Robots navigate a pre-defined course dealing with various obstacles along the way. Waypoints may be marked with objects that the robot must touch or come within a specified distance. The robots will be guided primarily by GPS and vision systems. Robots will be fully autonomous, but do not necessarily have to be self contained, i.e. it is ok to have a laptop with a wireless or even wired link to the robot. April 29, 2007. Running on netbook computers.

First, IgORE doesn’t actually stand for anything, other than the ORE part anyways. The board was designed to have the maximum amount of expandibility and use, based around a MicroChip PIC processor. It was originally meant to be for SUMO’s but could legitimately be the brains for any other ‘bot. 8211; (Dec 8th, 2002).
