Join the mailing list! Xinchejian is a hackerspace. Hackerspaces are communities where people who are interested in physical computing and technology can meet and collaborate on projects. Xinchejian is the first hackerspace in China. It is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Xinchejian’s mission is to support and promote physical computing, open source hardware, and the Internet of Things. What does Xinchejian do? Hold workshops to teach skills. Hold talks and discussions.

To provide a better service for makers, we have had storage boxes so that makers don’t have to carry their heavy, precious projects home and take the projects back to Xinchejian. However, the problem with the storage boxes was that the labels on the boxes did not tell a complete information about the maker. It only contained the names ( sometimes they don’t even have names) . No contact info, expiry date and so on.
