The Lentil Bowl: Been There, Done That
http://andreahoffman.blogspot.com/2011/10/been-there-done-that.html
Observations and confabulations (you decide which is which). Sunday, October 02, 2011. Been There, Done That. I figured out at some point that I tend to try new things, figure out I can do them (or can't) and then be done with them. Mainly cooking kinds of things these days. Last year I made a lot of ice cream and I haven't made any since. I also made a bunch of pickles this summer. Most of them were okay. I haven't broken into the pickled skapes yet. The Lentil Bowl: Boot Camp
http://andreahoffman.blogspot.com/2011/09/boot-camp.html
Observations and confabulations (you decide which is which). Monday, September 12, 2011. Sometime last spring, but maybe even late winter, I stopped going to Boot Camp at my local YMCA. I just sort of fell out the habit. I think I was traveling alot and then had a few meetings those nights, or maybe it was raining, and I just didn't go. I still made it to the gym - I just didn't make it to Boot Camp. It is horrible and awesome at the same time. Because I can run. And I can do push-ups. And I ...

soak up life: March 2015
http://soakuplife.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Mar 30, 2015. Yesterday morning we had a great family adventure on the Cedar Rock Railroad. It was a picture perfect morning. In the 70s, sunny and as a Sunday, not crowded at all. Cade got to ride the train, not once, but twice! The second time I'm sure was the best because Jon, Rowan, Carys and Kiki (Jon's mom) surprised us there so the kids got to ride together. Yay friends! Mar 28, 2015. My baby, my parrot. New things my kid tried and managed to say at least fairly well today. As in "What's dat?

Aug 31, 2015. Happy 90th Birthday Grandma! We spent the past weekend in Houston to celebrate my Grandma's 90th birthday and my Dad's 60th birthday. These landmark birthdays were extra special because Carly, my sister-in-law visited from California for them. Cade and I hadn't seen her since last January and Ross hadn't seen her since she and Kevin got married in May 2013. Did I take any pictures? Aug 25, 2015. The Greatest Show on Earth. Sunday evening, Ross, Nancy, Cade and I went to the circus! We went ...

Jul 27, 2015. Cade came back from Nana Camp today! And we spent the staycation day having fun and relaxing. Including with a trip to our favorite city of Round Rock pool. It was Ross' first time to join us there and he agreed - we didn't have awesome kiddie pools like this back in the 80's. Kids today have all the luck. Jul 26, 2015. Summer Vacation is Here! At long last, our family summer vacation! Check out the pics. Framed board games were the final touch. Jul 22, 2015. A La Casa de Negra. Back at the...
