What do I do if I hit a native animal on the road? Ive found an injured or baby bird. What should I do with it? Place the bird carefully in a box or washing basket with something soft and warm to be wrapped in or underneath it. Keep it in a quiet and dark place in the house until a carer can get to you. Do not attempt to feed or give any fluids. We often get snakes in the yard. What should I do about them? We have had blue tongue lizards in our yard. Are they dangerous? Can we remove him?
