Sailing Terrapin: Hurricane Season Fun! Come Sail With Us! Saturday, August 2, 2014. As we sat on Terrapin in Deltaville, Virginia on the Chesapeake Bay we realized that we had two choices for spending hurricane season: 1) Sail to Maine and work remotely from the anchorage and make some. Money or 2) Put Terrapin on the hard and drive to Utah and go to an office every day (for the same companies that allowed us to work remote) and really contribute to the cruising kitty. The app "Strava" has been addictiv...

S/V Hello World's Travel Log. Sunday, January 27, 2013. I land in some fairly random places for work once in a while. Like Kansas for example. A client had me out there for 4 of the past 6 weeks. At first, it was just Kansas - I wasn't getting out a lot and it seemed pretty flat. Sometime through my 3rd week there, someone mentioned something about the boat show coming to town. "Ha! Who sails in Kansas? I thought to myself. And then it occurred to me. I know people that sail here! Hello world is for sale!

Back to Wildcat Sailorgirl. Monday, January 23, 2012. One of my musical regrets was not going to see Tito Puente and his orchestra when he came to Kansas City in 2000. Poncho Sanchez and his band made a stop at Johnson County Community College this week as part of their Jazz Winterlude series. I don’t think you ca...
