My Wildlife Pond Project Blog: August 2014
http://my-wildlife-pond-project.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, 23 August 2014. Almost Autumn - 23/8/2014. Well it's almost Autumn and there isn't much going on in the ponds now. I had a clean up of elodea crispa which was beginning to run riot in Pond Project #2 but apart from that all I've been doing for the last few weeks is removing the odd fallen leaf. The black dragon plants have survived the summer and are doing okay. I'm hoping they'll get more bushy next year, time will tell I guess. The frosted curls grass has survived too. Encouraging Wildlife

Planning your Wildflower Garden. AS WELL As growing native wildflowers in your garden, there are plenty of other ways to encourage and support a fascinating assortment of garden wildlife. Thursday, 2 July 2015. A Den of a Kind - 02/7/2015. I had a clean up behind the shed at the weekend and decided to make a kind of den for the hedgehogs or any other little mammals that may need shelter come Autumn and Winter. I'm hoping that that something will move in over time. It only took five minutes to put together but it's tucked away behind the shed and should stay for years to come. Old bricks and some cut grass. Roof made with some. Thick off cuts of timber. Stacked up with more offcuts. We hav...

http://midmarsh.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
