Black and OHanly Rivers. Imagine learning basic whitewater skills as you explore this picturesque river, only 45 minutes from Winnipeg. This little known gem winds through farms, forests, cottages and campgrounds, including Great Woods Park and Campground. You will have a blast on the 15 or so easy rapids. There are also several long sections of fast water and plenty of slower sections where you can watch for ducks, geese, and deer. Duration : approximately 5 hours. Cost per day :.

Black and OHanly Rivers. A 75 minute drive from Winnipeg, the relatively clear waters of the Upper Whitemouth River wind through the mixed woods and sandy cliffs of Sandilands Provincial Forest. These wooded shores are especially colourful in late September and early October, when the fresh greens of the conifers stand in contrast to the yellows, browns, golds and reds of the deciduous trees and shrubs. Black and OHanly Rivers. The lower half of the route will challenge your manoeuvering skills on the seemingly endless rapids that follow one another for 20 or 30 minutes. It is strictly glance and go, and you are bound to bump a rock or two as you try to negotiate between them. Fortunately, the canoes are built to take the rough stuff with only minor dents and scratches. Duration : approximately 6 hours. Rating : paddlers with considerable experience. Wild Harmony var företaget som erbjöd härliga naturupplevelser genom hundspannskörning och att åka med hundspann ut i naturen. Wild Harmony var ett familjeföretag och bakom stod Lars-Eric och Monica, samt deras barn. Lars-Eric skaffade sina första hundar redan 2000 och till slut hade han så många som 17 slädhundar.
