Location — Wildlands Art Residency

Secluded and picturesque, Wildlands Art Residency is located on a private, off-the-grid, 55-acre parcel in Sonoma County, reached via a 4-mile dirt road. Walking/hiking in the area is encouraged; information will be provided upon arrival. There is a pond in which artists are welcome to fish and swim. Due to high risk of wildfires in the Sonoma County landscape, artists will not be able to have fires or open flames of any kind. We respect your privacy.

Artists will be provided with studio space, a private room with bath and linens, and rustic outdoor kitchen facilities at no charge to the artist. Shared laundry facilities are available. Artists should bring everything they need for productive art-making with them, and plan to be present at the property for the duration of their residency. Eligible applicants in all mediums are encouraged to apply painters, writers, musicians, dancers, architects, other. Established, dedicated, practicing artists. Self-sufficient and comfortable in an isolated rural environment (please note on your application any food or environmental allergies). Able to take the time away from jobs, family and other day-to-day obligations and routines, in order to be present and committed for the duration of the residency. Not enrolled in school during residency.
